SUBSTANCE: used to control asynchronous motors operating with a variable load.
A feature of the claimed method for controlling an asynchronous motor is the switching of the stator winding from the “triangle” scheme to the “star” scheme when the load drops to the limit value. The specified limit value is determined by the formula:
where P0 is the sum of losses in steel and mechanical losses of the engine; PkY is the sum of losses in copper and additional losses of the engine connected according to the “star” scheme; P toΔ is the sum of losses in copper and additional losses of the engine connected according to the “triangle” scheme.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the asynchronous motor due to operation with the highest possible efficiency in the “triangle” and “star” schemes.
