METHOD FOR PRODUCING MEDICAL NAPKINS FROM GRAPHITIZED CARBON FABRIC BASED ON VISCOSE Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61L15/16 A61L15/18 A61M27/00

Abstract RU 2748254 C1

FIELD: medicine; surgery; traumatology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular, to surgery and traumatology, and discloses method for producing medical napkins from graphitized carbon fabric based on viscose. The method includes obtaining a graphitized carbon fabric based on viscose, its washing, electrochemical treatment, which includes immersion of the fabric in an aqueous solution of KI at a concentration of 0.08-0.10 g/l with the addition of 0.1 ml/l of an alcohol solution of iodine at a concentration of 0.04-0.08 g/g, and NH4OH to obtain a neutral medium, for 15-30 minutes at a voltage of 70-80 V and a current density of 6.67 A/m2, further cutting of the fabric into napkins, processing the cut edges of the carbon napkin with silicone, sterilization and packaging. The napkin made of graphitized carbon fabric is characterized by a high sorption capacity - over 0.95 g/g, it has a high carbon content of 99.6 wt.%.

EFFECT: invention allows accelerating the healing of wounds of various etiologies without drying to the damaged area of the skin, avoiding the formation of cicatrices and scars, and provides an antibacterial effect; the invention can be used for treatment of deep purulent wounds in general surgery, traumatology, combustiology, obstetrics and gynecology, proctology, dentistry, otolaryngology, etc., it allows avoiding sepsis and infection.
