FIELD: optical instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical instrumentation, and more precisely to optical polarizing devices (saccharimeters) designed for researching solutions containing optically active substances. The device can be used in digital saccharimeters, for example, of the AP-05M type, as well as in photometers. The proposed device has a niche, on the bottom plane of which there are protrusions that play the role of guides. The proposed device also has a universal stand with a handle. There are tabs on the bottom of the stand to match the tabs on the rails. A groove is made in the support, parallel to the guides of the niche, for installing cuvettes with flat bases of the same width. A spring pusher is installed in one of the walls of the support groove for pressing the cuvettes to the opposite wall of the support groove, which is the base one. The side faces of the niche protrusions are inclined at an angle of 75° <θ <90°. In the upper part of the niche, metal axles are fixed, and grooves are made in the niche cover for putting it on the axles and serve as hinges. On the inner part of the niche lid, a thickening is made, the height of which is equal to the distance from the inner surface of the lid to the upper part of the support handle, installed in the niche for reliable fixation of the support in the niche.

EFFECT: ensuring reliable fixation of all types of cuvettes and control devices and at the same time, ease of maintenance of the saccharimeter.
