FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and concerns the design of test equipment, in particular stands for testing the bearing assemblies of rail vehicles. The device includes an axle, on the edges of which the tested bearings are mounted, placed in axle boxes, which together with the bearings form axle boxes, through spacers supported on the foundation on which electromagnets are installed to load the tested bearings with a load that simulates the vehicle load due to the action of the magnetic field on an axle, in the middle of which there is a drive with an electric motor and a drive disconnecting device. A device for creating an alternating axial load with a load cell and cooling fans to be tested with sensors for monitoring temperature and air flow rate is connected to each of the tested axlebox units by means of a spacer flange. The stand is also equipped with an axle revolution counter located under the axle on the foundation.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at expanding the functionality, increasing efficiency of using the stand, providing possibility of diagnosing axlebox units of various types at one stand, as well as increasing reliability of detecting axlebox unit malfunctions by determining the resistance to rotation of the wheelset axle in the tested bearings.
