SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composite product and to a method of producing a composite product. The composite product (1) is comprised of a first plastic layer (2) and a supporting structure (11, 3) including a second plastic layer (3) and a fiber layer (4) located in between. The first plastic layer (2) permeates the fiber layer (4) at least in some locations resulting in mechanical connection of the first plastic layer (2) and the fiber layer (4), wherein the first plastic layer and/or the support structure (11) are at least partially optically transparent, so that the fibers of the fiber layer (4) are at least partially visible from the outside, and the first plastic layer (2) is formed by pressure casting and/or deep drawing and/or extrusion blow moulding.

EFFECT: invention ensures production of an at least partially optically transparent composite product.
