FIELD: material processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the treatment of materials by cutting and can be used to make circular holes in walls, ceilings or similar structures made of concrete or other mineral materials. The core barrel crown consists of a tubular rod, a mounting platform located at the proximal end of the tubular rod and designed for mounting the core barrel crown onto a driving tool, an annular cutting section, and a transceiver. The annular cutting section contains abrasive cutting segments located at the far end of the tubular rod. The tubular rod is made with a slot, which forms a slotted antenna for the transceiver, and contains an inner sleeve, and the annular cutting section contains an outer sleeve, which circumferentially encloses the specified inner sleeve. The transceiver is attached to the outer sleeve and faces the inner sleeve. The core barrel crown destroys the structure by erasing the annular hole, leaving the inner cylindrical core intact. The annular cutting section can be used until the abrasive cutting segments are completely worn out.
EFFECT: increased durability of the crown and treatment efficiency.
