The device consists of a holder and a structure of three or more elements of interaction with the surface. These elements are capable of performing only one of the functions of influencing or measuring pressure at any given moment in time. The interaction elements are spatially separated from each other and distributed in two dimensions on the surface of the holder. The first element performs the function of influencing. The second element carries out the function of measuring pressure. The device controller is connected to the interaction elements for controlling the first element for causing deformation in the receiving surface at the first contact point, controlling the second element for measuring pressure and / or force acting from the receiving surface at the second spatially separated point of contact, for determining the elasticity index of the receiving surface between the first and second points. The controller also controls additional surface interaction elements simultaneously with control of the second and / or first element, or to induce deformation in the sensing surface, or to measure pressure and / or force at additional points of contact, thereby enabling the determination of the elastic index between each of the additional points and either the second or the first point of contact.
