FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for creation of actuating or sensor device for bending perception. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that a bending actuating device or a sensor device for perception of bending includes the following: stack of modules, wherein each module includes at least one electroactive polymer and control electrodes for actuating said at least one electroactive polymer so that it is deformed in response to the actuation signal supplied to the electrodes for actuation, or for perception of a signal generated in response to deformation of said at least one electroactive polymer, wherein adjacent modules in stack are capable of sliding relative to each other.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility of increasing force at actuation without increasing potential difference for actuation.
