FIELD: display methods.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a display method, more specifically to a display panel having a light modulation region, a display device, a display contrast modulation method of a display panel, and the display panel manufacturing method. The display panel includes multiple light modulators designed to modulate the display contrast of the display panel. Each of the multiple light modulators is in a light modulation region designed to allow light to pass through the display panel. Light transmission in the light modulation region is controlled by the first gate line and the first data line to excite the image display in the first sub-pixel of the multitude of sub-pixels.
EFFECT: improved image contrast at high ambient light intensity.
