SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. The CQI is calculated under various conditions, depending on whether the information is sent from the network device to the terminal or not. When the network device does not send information to the terminal, the terminal selects pre-configured K ports out of N ports to calculate the CQI based on the rank, and when the network device sends configuration information to the terminal, then the configuration information indicates information about K ports, and the terminal determines K ports in N ports according to the configuration information.

EFFECT: improved communication performance by providing a more accurate Channel Quality Indicator (CQI) value, which improves system performance.
