FIELD: apparatus for making beverages.
SUBSTANCE: portioning capsule is intended for preparation of a beverage such as coffee or tea in a beverage preparing apparatus. The capsule at the outlet end thereof is closed by the base of the body and forms a foiled-covered hole at the opposite inlet end thereof. The water-compressing foil in the inner space of the capsule containing the substrate, granulate and/or powder of the beverage is configured to be perforated by the apparatus. The capsule contains weak points in the base of the body thereof configured to be opened, broken or fractured in the presence of the liquid pressure in the inner space of the capsule, allowing the liquid to pass from the inner space of the capsule to the beverage outlet. The base of the body is covered with a disk-shaped inner plate the outer edge whereof contains liquid passage holes wherein the liquid flows from the inner space of the capsule to the weak points of the base through the holes. An annular protrusion protrudes on the base of the body into the inner space of the capsule, located coaxially to the axis of the capsule. The inner plate is positively inserted into the inner space of the annular protrusion and therein fills the inner space.
EFFECT: invention ensures production of a beverage with extensive and thick foam.
