SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for coupling a semitrailer with a tractor. The fifth wheel coupling device of the road train contains a saddle plate, a mounting plate, two extreme and intermediate supports, compression springs, axles longitudinal and transverse relative to the longitudinal axis of the tractor, a body and a bracket fixed on the outer surface of the body. The two end supports are fixedly mounted on the mounting plate, and the axle longitudinal relative to the longitudinal axis of the tractor is fixed between the extreme and intermediate supports to provide the device with reciprocating movement relative to the longitudinal axis of the tractor. The intermediate support is fixed to the mounting plate. The body is made in the form of a cylinder with a longitudinal groove in its lower part and is equipped with end caps rigidly connected to the body with openings into which the axle longitudinal relative to the longitudinal axis of the tractor is passed. Compression springs are installed between the end caps and the intermediate support. The saddle base plate is pivotally connected to the bracket by means of an axle that is transverse to the longitudinal axis of the tractor, fixed in it.

EFFECT: simplified design of the device and increased angle of rotation of the semitrailer relative to the tractor in the transverse-vertical plane.
