FIELD: optical signal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optical signal processing. The essence of the method for determining the coordinates of the center of gravity of an optical image consists in projecting the optical signal onto the photodetector matrix of the receiver to the size of M×N photocells, coordinate referencing of the photocell numbers, converting the optical signal by the photodetector matrix of the receiver into the M×N matrix of output electrical signals, and forming the average value im of the output electrical signals as where ij is the output electrical signal of the j-th photocell, - photocell number, determining the threshold level for the output electrical signals as where Pfa is the set value of the probability of a false alarm, E () is the separation of the whole part from the obtained value downward, the implementation of the threshold processing of the output electrical signals of the photocells, the formation at ij≥γ of the electric signal of the j-th photocell as ijγ=ij, generating ij<γ of the electric signal of the j-th photocell as ijγ=ij=0, determining the number of the photocell with the maximum output signal as and the coordinates of the center of gravity of the image by the coordinates of the k-th photocell, displaying the values of the coordinates of the center of gravity of the image.
EFFECT: improves accuracy of determining the coordinates of the center of gravity of the optical image.
