FIELD: railways.
SUBSTANCE: method is proposed for braking train set (100) in which driving locomotive (10) is connected to at least one driven locomotive (20) by means of time-separated train bus system (50). The method includes the following steps: registration of the actual electric operating current (IIst LG) of driven locomotive (20); registration of the actual electric operating current (IIst LF) of the driving locomotive; registration of the maximum value (Imax) of the reverse current; registration of the value (HLSoll) of the request for pneumatic braking of air brake line (40); determination of the maximum electric reverse current and the set value of the electric braking of driven locomotive (20), based on the actual electric operating current (IIst LG) of driven locomotive (20), the actual electric operating current (IIst LF) of driving locomotive (10), the maximum value (Imax) of the operating current and the value (HLSoll) of the request for pneumatic braking of air brake line (40); and the implementation of electric braking of train set (100) using a set value (ESoll) of electric braking so that the maximum electric reverse current of driven locomotive (20) is not exceeded.
EFFECT: provided is improved, in particular optimized with respect to the network, braking of the train.
