FIELD: railroad transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railroad transportation and is intended for electric and pneumatic control of the change in compressed air pressure in the brake cylinders of freight wagons and diagnostics of operation of the brake equipment. The brake control system of a railroad vehicle comprises a control unit including programs based on control algorithms of the braking equipment, electrically connected with the electric control line of the train, including connection by means of a power supply unit; with the actuating part by means of a switching unit pneumatically connected with a spare reservoir, the brake line and the brake cylinder; with control apparatuses of the actuating part. The power supply unit therein is connected with an autonomous power supply and is configured to provide uninterruptable power supply to the consumers in all operating modes of the brake and to switch consumers between power supply from an autonomous power supply source and power supply from the electric control line of the train.
EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of control of the brake of a railroad vehicle.
