FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to a device for draining a wound cavity in the plastics of a hernial defect of the abdominal wall. The device contains a tubular drain connected to an active aspiration system. The device is equipped with elastic elements, fastened in a bundle in their proximal part for withdrawal into the tubular drainage from the wound cavity and with the possibility of installing the distal ends into the wound cavity. With a wound size of 15x10 cm with an area of 150 cm2, from 4 to 8 elastic elements were selected for tubular drainage with a length of 20 cm and a lumen diameter of 8 mm. The length of the elastic elements is from 20 to 30 cm and the width is from 0.2 to 0.5 mm.
EFFECT: invention increases the efficiency of drainage, overcoming the complete collapse of tissues, the ability to fill the wound cavity of any shape and the absence of the need to expand the wound counteropening.
