FIELD: experimental medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of experimental medicine. Mechanical irritation of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and nasopharynx is carried out by bougienage them using a metal probe with a spiral notch, at the end of which a cotton swab is wound. Two hours later, the nasopharyngeal opening of the auditory tube is tamponed with a sterile gauze swab inserted into the nasopharynx through the nasal cavity. The tampon is kept in the nasal cavity for 3 days.
EFFECT: invention allows simulating the occurrence of serous effusion in the middle ear cavities while preserving the architectonics of the middle ear and the integrity of the tympanic membrane.
