SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used in gearboxes when one of the stages constitutes planetary gear, for example, in revolving gearboxes of shearer-loaders for rock mass recovery to provide protection against rotation. The revolving gearbox of a shearer-loader includes a cylindrical gearbox the body whereof is equipped with a flange adjoined by the support plane thereof with the support plane of the body with an internal gear rim of the planetary gearbox, and at least one rotation protection element installed within the cavity of a recess in the body with an internal gear rim of the planetary gearbox and within the cavity of the adjoining recess. A step is made therein on the body of the cylindrical gearbox, protruding above the support plane of the flange, configured to cover the part of the outer lateral surface of the body with the internal gear rim by the vertical surface of the step. The cavity of the recess is made in the outer lateral surface of the body with the internal gear rim with access to the support plane thereof, and the cavity of the adjoining recess is made in a step on the side of the vertical surface thereof from the support plane of the flange configured to form a joint cavity with the cavity of the recess of the body with the internal gear rim.

EFFECT: improved maintainability of the revolving gearbox of a shearer-loader, reduced time losses and increased rock mass yield.
