FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of chemistry and medicine. Objects 1-3 constitute methods for diagnosing ischemia or ischemic tissue damage in a patient, predicting the progression of ischemia or determining the prognosis in a patient with experience of an ischemic event, determining the risk of a recurrent ischemic event in a patient suffering from stable ischemic disease, including determining, in a sample of the patient, the levels of glycosylated apolipoprotein J (Apo J) containing residue of N-acetylglucosamine or containing residue of N-acetylglucosamine and sialic acid. Objects 4 and 5 are a set for determining the indicated forms of glycosylated Apo J in a sample, containing lectin immobilised on a substrate, and an application of the set corresponding with the described methods. Object 6 is a method for determining glycosylated Apo J in a sample.
EFFECT: technical result is high sensitivity to changes in the concentration of the indicated forms of glycosylated Apo J upon determination thereof in a sample, and specificity of diagnostics of ischemia based on determination of the indicated glycosylated forms of Apo J, as well as an application of determination of levels of said forms of glycosylated Apo J for identifying a current ischemic event, for predicting in patients with experience of an ischemic event, and for determining the risk of recurrent ischemic events in a patient suffering from stable ischemic heart disease.
