FIELD: technologies for pump control applications.

SUBSTANCE: pump controller has a signal processor configured to respond to an alarm containing information about three corresponding discrete arrays relative to the discrete engine speed for each position of the system at the engine speed obtained from the surfaces of the three-dimensional discrete distribution of engine power, pump pressure drop, and pump supply by corresponding numerical interpolations; and determining the appropriate alarm containing information for controlling the pump or pumps in the pump system, or the pump system, based on the corresponding pressure drop at the pump and the pump supply at the engine speed for the corresponding measured power value, determined using numerical interpolation of the three corresponding discrete arrays, and the received alarm. The signal processor is configured to provide the appropriate alarm as a control alarm to control the pump or pumps in the pump system, or the pump system.

EFFECT: inventions are aimed at saving the energy of the pump operation.
