FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing rounded reaction composite powders of the nickel-aluminum system for the manufacture of products by the additive method. Mechanical processing of the initial nickel and aluminum powders is carried out in an inert atmosphere in a ball mill using balls as grinding bodies. A planetary ball mill is used as a ball mill. As grinding bodies, balls with a diameter of 2-6 mm are used. The ratio of the mass of the balls to the mass of the initial nickel and aluminum powders is 40:1-20:1. The mentioned mechanical processing is carried out in two stages. At the first stage, the mechanical processing of powders is carried out for 2-5 minutes at a speed of rotation of the reels and the radial disk of 600-900 rpm. In the second stage, the mechanical processing of the powders is carried out for 60-120 minutes at a speed of rotation of the reels and the radial disk of 200-400 rpm.
EFFECT: invention provides the production of powder composite particles that can enter into an exothermic reaction during the additive sintering process.
