FIELD: chemical processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of creation of new highly energetic materials with high heat of combustion in oxidising media, used as fillers of blasting compositions (BC) for ammunition equipment. In the manufacture of the composite boron-containing filler powder for energetic materials, an initial mixture of powders is prepared, containing 45 wt.% of boron and 55 wt.% of aluminium. The initial mixture is processed in an activator ball mill at a rotation speed of the drum of 600 rpm in a hexane activation medium for 7 to 12 minutes. After the initial powder mixture is prepared, an additional operation of mixing the boron aluminium powder is performed in the vibrating mill without a ball load, adding 1-3% colloidal graphite to 99-97% of the initial mixture.
EFFECT: absence of milling yield in the final product is ensured.
