SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for extracting lithium ions from a lithium-containing brine. The method includes contacting a lithium-containing brine with a lithium-ion sieve in the first mixing reactor to form a complex compound of a lithium- ion with a lithium-ion sieve, providing decomplexing of lithium- ions from a lithium-ion sieve in the second mixing reactor to form a solution of an acidic eluate of a lithium salt, separated from the lithium-ion sieve, where the lithium-ion sieve contains titanium or niobium oxide.
EFFECT: increased rate of extraction of lithium from lithium-containing brine.
