FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of power engineering and can be used to generate electric power on air and/or water flows. The method for generating electric power by means of capturing air and/or water flows consists in the fact that the rotation of the rotor blades 7 and the magnetic poles of at least one rotor 9 relative to the stator is accelerated using the flow of wind and/or water accelerated by the flow accelerator 1 constituting a nozzle comprised of a reducer and a diffuser. A screw 7 is placed in the critical section of the nozzle. The poles of the rotor 9 are fixed behind the screw 7. The diameters of the rotor 9 and the stator are made exceeding the diameter of the accelerator 1. The rotor 9 and the stator are placed behind the body of the accelerator 1 in a separate outer body 19 fixed by posts 22 on the rigid body of the accelerator 1. Rotation is transmitted to the rotor 9 through the axis 20 fixed on the axis of the screw 7.
