FIELD: laser technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of laser technology and concerns a device for forming a uniform distribution of laser radiation on a target. The device is a set of lenses arranged together in a two-dimensional array with aperture apodization of elements, with the transmittance coefficient gradually decreasing to the element edges. The elements have various thickness along the direction of laser radiation distribution, which is selected in such a way that the difference in the time of passage of laser radiation through any two elements of the array exceeds in absolute value the time of laser radiation coherence. The lenses in the set have a focal length alternating by sign.
EFFECT: increased uniformity of irradiation by reducing non-uniformity of distribution of laser radiation intensity on a target.
