SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to infectious diseases, phthisiology and therapy. A method for determining the genetic predisposition to the development of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis Mycobacterium tuberculosis is proposed. In patients at risk, venous blood samples are collected, genomic DNA is isolated, and an allele-specific polymerase chain reaction is performed to genotype the arylamine acetyltransferase 2 NAT2 gene at polymorphic loci rs1208, rs1799930, and rs1799929. Carriers of the combination of genotypes NAT2Lys268Lys А803А × NAT2Arg197Arg G590G × NAT2Leu161Leu С481С are predicted to develop multidrug-resistant tuberculosis Mycobacterium tuberculosis with a 10.775-fold risk. EFFECT: invention makes it possible to predict the development of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis Mycobacterium tuberculosis in HIV patients and to adjust the therapeutic tactics of managing patients at the stage of prescribing medicines.
