FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and is intended for use on quarry excavators to improve the energy characteristics of the electric drive for opening the bottom of the excavator bucket when loading rock. An electric device for opening the bottom of the excavator bucket is proposed, containing a power source 1, a three-phase asynchronous motor 9 with a short-circuited rotor and increased slip, the shaft of which is connected to the drum 11 and a cable 12 wound on it, connected through a lever mechanism 14 to the bolt 15 of the bottom of the bucket 16. The button 8 to control the bucket bottom opening 16, is connected to the S-input of the RS trigger 7, the logic element OR 5 is connected by the first input via the timer 4 to the output of the RS trigger 7, and the second input is connected to the output of the initial setup unit 6, and the output is connected to the R-input of the RS trigger 7. The device additionally includes a frequency converter 2, connected between the power supply 1 and the asynchronous motor 9, and a control unit 3, connected between the output of the RS-trigger 7 and the control input of the frequency converter 2.
EFFECT: use of the frequency converter to control an asynchronous motor with increased slip provides a reduction in dynamic loads and an increase in the energy characteristics of the electric drive device for opening the bottom of the excavator bucket.
