SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of dehydration of solutions of thermosensitive thermoplastic materials and can be used in the chemical, construction industry and in other industries, in particular, for the production of plasticizing additives for concrete, mortars and dry building mixes. When implementing the method, the solution is sprayed with the participation of a drying agent, inert bodies are introduced into the suspended layer, on which the solution is fed and its dehydration is performed on the surface of the inert bodies. Chipping of the thermosensitive thermoplastic material from the inert bodies is performed as a result of cooling of the thermosensitive thermoplastic material below its softening temperature and mechanical impact on the corresponding inert bodies. The chipped particles are removed from the device by the exhaust gas flow. The temperature of the drying agent in the spray jet is higher than the softening temperature of the thermosensitive thermoplastic material. The temperature of the liquefying agent and the exhaust gas is lower than the softening temperature of the thermosensitive thermoplastic material.

EFFECT: efficiency of dewatering and chipping of the material is increased.
