FIELD: air cushion vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air cushion vehicles, in particular to amphibious vehicles (hereinafter – AV), which have a load-bearing platform consisting of a central body and two buoyancy blocks filled with a porous waterproof material, a flexible air cushion enclosure and means for ensuring movement, controllability and safety on water and on land. The AV has two autonomous lifting and driving units, each of which consists of an engine with a cooling system, a fan, a transmission, an air propeller, and air rudders. The engine cooling system is designed in such a way that the radiators are installed in the engine compartment directly in the airflow coming to the fans to create an air cushion; the radiators do not require energy to blow them. The fans are installed in a combined body and are equipped with movable distributors of air supply to the right and left side receivers, controlled by the driver from the control cabin. The AV is equipped with elastic brake flaps, driven by corrugated rubber-fabric chambers and spring mechanisms. To increase efficiency and reliability, the flaps are made with the possibility of equipping them with replaceable seasonal serrated knives and flexible rubber-fabric safety visors. The flexible enclosure of the vehicle is made of rubber-fabric sheets and plates of variable thickness, reinforced with an elastic metal frame, made of titanium, for example, and the front flexible enclosure is additionally reinforced with movable energy-intensive stops.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve the technical characteristics and safety of operation of an amphibious vehicle on water, in swamps, on ice and on land.
