FIELD: lever mechanisms.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lever mechanisms. The multi-piston lever mechanism contains a housing with a mechanical converting device installed in it, made in the form of an assembly of a connecting rod-piston group of links, in which the connecting rods and the rotary crank are made in the form of identical three-hinged links with a symmetrical opposite installation on each connecting rod of two pistons with mutually perpendicular axes of their translational motion.
EFFECT: device design is simplified, the axial dimensions of multi-cylinder piston engines are decreased, and the dynamic loads on the support bearings and the piston machine body are reduced.
