FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, mainly to coal industry, and can be used to determine location of pyrite in coal beds. Proposed method comprises coal sampling in coal mine coal-mining face, grinding of coal, determination of sorption index and element composition, time of cutter motion, determination of temperature and gas content in mine air. Coal sampling is carried out in the middle part of the mining face before landing of rocks of the main roof, content in the coal fine dust particles and pyrite dust particles content in the coal is determined, air temperature and hydrogen sulphide concentration sensors in it are installed on the cleaning machine, they are placed along the combine along the flow direction of the bottom-hole effluent air flow, results of the movement timing of the combine along the working face are combined with the readings of air temperature sensors and concentration of hydrogen sulphide therein, wherein location of pyrite in the coal bed is determined by increasing concentration of hydrogen sulphide near the coal-crushing machine. Technical result is achieved due to determination in coal after its grinding of finely dispersed fractions of coal dust and pyrite dust particles, installation of air temperature sensors and concentration of hydrogen sulphide therein at a cleaning machine along the flow direction of the bottom-hole effluent airflow, lengthwise movement of the cutter movement along the mine face during coal bed destruction, combination of the timing data with the air temperature readings and concentration of hydrogen sulphide near the coal crushing machine.
EFFECT: this allows to determine location of pyrite in coal bed along length of mining face.
