SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer technology. The software deployment and management system consists of a task manager, an administration server, a client service hosted on the user’s device and connected to the administration server, which serves to accept tasks from the administration server; the user’s remote device, while the user’s device is connected to the administration server via a data transfer channel, and the software composition on such a device is formed of layers of cascaded-combined mounting; the task manager performs the function of forming a new configuration of software packaged in a layer of cascaded-combined mounting on the administration server; the user’s device has a mechanism for forming an operating system from layers of cascaded-combined mounting and an operating system boot tool that includes support for the cascaded-combined mounting mechanism.
EFFECT: reducing the time of operations for deploying software on devices in the organization's network.
