FIELD: road construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of road construction, in particular to the storage and heating of bitumen. The method for heating and dispensing bitumen in a ground-based bitumen storage and bitumen terminal consists in heating bitumen in a storage tank in a casing installed in it with an intake and drain pipe to a temperature of in-plant transportation no lower than 80°C, and in the main volume of the storage tank outside the casing with an intake and drain pipe, bitumen is heated and maintained by heaters at a temperature not lower than the flow temperature of 60°C. The supply of bitumen from the volume under the casing with the intake and drain pipe of the storage tank to the main volume of the working tank is carried out as the bitumen is released from the working tank. Bitumen is heated in the working tank in a casing installed in it with an intake and drain pipe to an operating temperature of at least 140°C, followed by delivery to external transport or to the technological process. In the main volume of the working tank outside the casing with the intake and drain pipe, bitumen is heated to a temperature of internal bitumen transportation no lower than 80°C and is supported by heaters. Otherwise, bitumen heating in the storage tank is carried out and maintained by heaters in the entire volume of the storage tank at a temperature of in-plant transportation not lower than 80°C. The bitumen is supplied to the main volume of the working tank as the bitumen is consumed from the working tank, and the bitumen is heated in the working tank in a casing installed in it with an intake and drain pipe to an operating temperature of at least 140°C, followed by delivery to external transport or to the technological process, and in the main volume of the working tank outside the casing with the intake and drain pipe, bitumen is heated to a temperature of internal bitumen transportation not lower than 80°C and is supported by heaters. Otherwise, heating of bitumen in the working tank is carried out under the casing with an intake and drain pipe to an operating temperature of no less than 140°C with subsequent delivery to external transport or to the technological process, and in the main volume of the working tank outside the casing with an intake and drain pipe, bitumen is heated and maintained by heaters at a temperature of in-plant bitumen transportation of no less than 80°C.
EFFECT: reduction in energy costs and preservation of the quality of bitumen.
