FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of electrical engineering, namely to diagnostics of power transformers, autotransformers and shunt reactors (hereinafter referred to as transformers), and can be used in current operational control of the technical condition of transformers with an operation life of up to 35 years for determining developing defects. According to the proposed method, in controlling (measuring) the following parameters for transformers with an operation life of up to 35 years: tangent of the dielectric loss angle (tgδ) of winding insulations; acid number of the oil; tangent of the dielectric loss angle of the oil at 90°С; content of water-soluble acids and alkalis of the oil; content of antioxidant additives in the oil; high stability to oxidation of hydrocracking oils and high stability of said parameters, respectively, given an operation life of up to 35 years is not considered.

EFFECT: technical result upon implementation of the proposed method of controlling the technical condition of power transformers with a voltage of 35 kV and over allows to provide the required high-quality control of the technical condition of transformers filled with modern hydrocracking oils with reduced amount of diagnostic measurements and assays compared to the prototype.
