FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: audio capture device contains a directional diagram generator, which is made with the possibility to generate an output audio signal with a generated directional diagram. The adapter is made with the possibility to adapt the parameters of the directional diagram generation of the first directional diagram generator. The detector detects an increase in the volume of speech in the output audio signal with the generated directional diagram. The controller is made with the possibility to control the adaptation of the parameters of the directional diagram generation in a pre-defined time interval of adaptation, determined in response to the detection of an increase in the volume of speech. The directional diagram generator can generate a noise signal (signals). The detector is made with the possibility to detect an increase in the volume of speech in response to a comparison of the signal level of the output audio signal with the generated directional diagram relatively to the signal level of the said at least one noise reference signal.
EFFECT: technical result is an improvement in the adaptation mechanism in the directional diagram generator.
