FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, traumatology, and combustiology. The first layer of a vacuum dressing is applied - foam rubber with a drainage tube. The edges of the wound are reapproximated with the help of tension threads, over the tension threads, a second layer of foam rubber with a thickness of 1-2 cm with a drainage tube is applied to the surface of the skin. An incise film is applied over the second layer, thereby sealing the structure. Drainage tubes are attached to a vacuum system with a rarefaction of 125 mm Hg, the dressing is changed once every 3-4 days when the wound edges are reapproximated.
EFFECT: method allows achieving wound contraction and reduction not only by bringing its edges closer together, but also by reducing the volume of the wound due to the convergence of its walls and bottom; the simplicity and speed of installation of the structure allows it to be used in almost all anatomical areas where it is possible to seal it, and when using compact devices for vacuum therapy, providing the patient with activity and great rehabilitation potential.
