FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: catalyst for the reforming of gasoline fractions, hydrogenation of the benzene fraction or aromatic hydrocarbons containing aluminum oxide, platinum, zeolite with ZSM-5 or ZSM-11 structure is proposed. As a zeolite, the catalyst contains crystalline ferroaluminosilicate or ferrogallium aluminosilicate with ZSM-5 or ZSM-11 structure of zeolite, and has the following composition, wt. %: platinum 0.1–0.5, specified zeolite 1–75, alumina – the rest. Invention also discloses a method for producing a catalyst as described above, a method for reforming gasoline fractions and a method for hydrogenating a benzene fraction or aromatic hydrocarbons.

EFFECT: decrease in the temperature of complete burning of the catalyst coke at the stage of catalyst regeneration, as well as an increase in the yield of aromatic hydrocarbons and the octane number of the gasoline fraction obtained.
