SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery and oncology, and can be used for the surgical treatment of thyroid cancer with thyrotoxicosis. Ultrasound of the thyroid gland (thyroid gland) is performed. FNAB is performed for the patient with a diffuse nodular toxic goiter, and a patient with a diffuse toxic goiter is taken intraoperatively for pathohistological examination. When one of the forms of differentiated thyroid cancer is established, surgical treatment is carried out: removal of the actively functioning thyroid lobe with diffuse nodular toxic goiter or complete removal of the thyroid gland with diffuse toxic goiter. The operation is performed under the conditions of neuromonitoring of the recurrent laryngeal and vagus nerve.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the accuracy of the choice of objective surgical tactics for differentiated thyroid cancer in combination with thyrotoxicosis, to increase the effectiveness of surgical treatment, to determine the planned outcome and optimal volume of thyroid cancer surgery for thyrotoxicosis, to determine the optimal algorithm for treating patients, and also to improve the results of surgical treatment due to the combination of methods of the claimed invention.
