SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment, it can be used to determine the plant need for food elements by the photochemical activity of chloroplasts in the field and in greenhouses. The portable laboratory for plant chemical diagnostics includes a portable photo-colorimeter, chemical utensils and accessories, and a set of chemical reagents with a dye, placed in a rigid package. Additionally, it contains a portable lux meter, two light sources, and portable scales for accurate weighing. One light source is a portable electric lighting device containing a time relay, and the second is a portable lantern.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of determining the plant need for food elements in the field.
