FIELD: cutting tools.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the processing of materials by cutting, it can be used for chamfering operations using a cutting tool with cutting plates elastically fixed in its case. The cutting tool contains a tool case having a peripherally located external socket for placing a cutting plate and an internal socket located on the inside with a cutting plate elastically clamped in it. The tool case contains a through recess, at least partially bounded by the circumferential surface of the recess. An elastic clamping element passes inside the through recess. The inner socket for placing the cutting plate is formed by the elastic clamping element and a socket section of the circumferential surface of the recess. The cutting plate for chamfering can be fixed by means of the elastic clamping element without using an additional separate clamping device.
EFFECT: improvement of the design is provided.
