FIELD: turning equipment.
SUBSTANCE: cutting tool comprises a holder having a receptacle for receiving a plate cassette, a plate cassette clamped in the receptacle for receiving a plate cassette with a clamping element, and a cutting plate detachably held in the plate cassette. Clamping element is actuated by separate fastening element. Cutting plate has at least one working cutting section and the plate cassette is oriented in the socket for receiving the plate cassette so that the working cutting section meets the part at an angle in the cutting plate plane. Clamping element has a clamping surface with at least one clamping zone, and the same at least one clamping zone contacts the non-flat clamping surface of the plate cassette in the whole range of adjustment of the cutting plate angle. Angle in plan is increased or decreased by reorienting the cartridge for the plate in the holder, releasing the fastening element.
EFFECT: achieving stable and repeated adjustment of angle in plan view.
