FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: image recording device (43) is fixed on escalator (1). One of footrests (7) is removed to allow visual access to structure components (26) designed for measuring located below. Before recording images, control mark (55) is permanently placed on escalator (1) in one place on movement path (5), made with the possibility of unambiguous recognition for 3D camera (43). Escalator (1), together with 3D camera (43) fixed on it, is shifted along a circular path along part of movement path (5). Structure components (26) designed for measuring are recorded by means of 3D camera (43) from several positions along movement path (5). 3D model of fragments of components (26) of load-bearing structure (2) is created based on recorded images using jointly recorded control mark (55). A method for measuring components (26) of load-bearing structure (2) of the escalator, a method for upgrading the escalator, and device (41) for creating a 3D model of components (26) of the load-bearing structure (2) of the escalator are also proposed.
EFFECT: simplified measurement of the escalator load-bearing structure is achieved.
