SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of user devices for providing vehicle location information. Disclosed is a method for transmitting vehicle location information. According to the method, signals are transmitted by at least one antenna that is mounted on a vehicle for showing the vehicle location to another object, wherein the signals include information related to the identifier of at least one antenna and / or information about the offset of at least one antenna relative to the border of the vehicle, wherein the information related to the identifier allows another object to determine information about the offset of at least one antenna relative to the border of the vehicle.
EFFECT: expanding the range of distance measurement methods (in particular, through the PC5 radio interface for V2X services) to reliably measure distances to the outer borders and edges of the vehicle, rather than distances to an antenna with an undefined installation location.
