FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to precision instrumentation, and in particular to methods for determining the technical parameters of a vehicle. Oscillations are recorded in the form of variable accelerations at four points of the vehicle located in an orthogonal system with coordinates. At the points of the vehicle, fluctuations in variable angular velocities are recorded. For each of the orthogonal axes, the difference between the two angular velocities is determined. Spectral analysis of "n" realizations of the angular velocity differences is performed, the obtained "n" spectra of the angular velocity differences are averaged, and the averaged spectra of accelerations and angular velocities are compared. The frequency of the spectral component, which has a more pronounced maximum when comparing both spectra, is taken as the natural frequency of the vehicle. Then the exact value of the center of mass coordinate is found.
EFFECT: reliability of determining parameters of the vehicle in difficult climatic conditions is increased.
