FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to fire-fighting equipment, in particular to devices for release and distribution of gas-powder fire-extinguishing substance (GPFES), namely to stationary installations, which are used to extinguish fire of spillage of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in sumps. According to one of the embodiments, the stationary installation for extinguishing a LNG spillage fire contains at least one vessel (5) for storing the fire extinguishing powder, at least one cylinder (1) for storing compressed or liquefied gas, which is connected to vessel (5) for storing the fire extinguishing agent powder, at least one shutoff-starting device (SSD) (2), installed on at least one cylinder (1) for storage of liquefied or compressed gas, pipeline (8) for supply of gas-powder fire extinguishing substance (GPFES), connected to at least one vessel (5) for storage of GPFES, as well as spraying nozzle (9), connected to pipeline (8) of GPOV supply. According to another embodiment, a stationary installation for extinguishing a LNG spillage fire comprises GPFES supply pipeline (8), spraying nozzle (9) connected to GPFES supply pipeline (8), and at least one module (10) of gas-powder fire extinguishing with combined storage of components, besides, pipeline (8) for supply of GPFES is connected to at least one module (10) of gas-powder fire extinguishing. Spraying nozzle (9) is configured to be installed near the side of sump (12) for LNG spillages, wherein spraying nozzle (9) is made in the form of a blind pipe, and at a distance from the dead end of the pipe, a slot is made, which provides the possibility of forming a jet for extinguishing a LNG spillage fire, wherein the ratio of the area of the slot to the area of the inner section of the pipe is from 0.5 to 0.85.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of extinguishing a LNG spillage fire in sumps for collecting the liquid phase of LNG spillages by forming a jet for extinguishing a LNG spillage with an opening angle in the horizontal plane of 110° up to 130° and in vertical plane from 10° up to 15°, which creates a continuous layer of gas powder fire extinguishing substance above the surface of the LNG spillage.
