FIELD: recycling.

SUBSTANCE: technical solution in question relates to the field of substance processing, namely to methods and apparatuses for recycling foam polymer waste, and can be used, particularly, for recycling waste from a copolymer of ethylene with vinyl acetate. Proposed is a method for recycling foam polymer waste, characterised by the fact that the recycled raw materials are crushed, subjected to simultaneous heating and shear stress, notable for the fact that prior to crushing, the materials not constituting polymers or other synthetic materials are separated from the raw materials in form of waste of foam polymers containing ethylene vinyl acetate, after crushing, the rough crushed material is supplied to the mesh grid of the loading hopper of the granulator, wherein the mesh grid provides dosed supply of the crushed material to the granulator screw, wherein metal elements present in the source raw material and retaining in the rough crushed material after crushing are removed when the crushed raw material is supplied, and high temperature shear crushing of raw materials is executed by a gradual increase in the shear stress, but to no less than two times relative to the initial value while the raw material is heated to a temperature not exceeding the melting point, but no lower than to 100°C with a possibility of removing excess moisture from the crushed raw materials, the crushed raw materials are mixed, unloaded into a mould and pressed. Also described is an apparatus for recycling foam polymer waste.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is ensured possibility of recycling foam polymer waste into a product with a highly uniform composition.
