FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: implant for subtalar arthroereisis includes a body in form of a truncated cone with threads along the surface. The diameter of the larger base of the cone is 9.5 mm to 17.5 mm, the diameter of the smaller base of the cone is 7.5 mm to 15.5 mm. A central hole with a diameter of 1.6 mm for installing a spoke is made along the entire length of the cone. Three equidistant cuts for growth of the cicatricial fibrous tissue are made along the outer side of the body. A blind hole with a depth of up to 0.5 cm for a hexagonal cannulated screwdriver is made at the base of the cone. The body is made of a biodegradable material, wherein a calcium phosphate coating is applied over said material.

EFFECT: invention ensures anatomically correct placement of the implant and maximum reduction of possible risks of migration of the subtalar implant from the subtalar sinus to the outside, minimising incorrect installation and post-operative complications in form of migration of the implant, wherein repeated surgical intervention for removing the proposed subtalar implant is not required due to complete biological degradation thereof in the subtalar space.
