SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry. Clinical and X-ray examination of the parodontium are performed. A microbiological study of the contents of periodontal pockets is performed. An immunological study of blood and the contents of periodontal pockets is performed. The obtained data is analysed, and if an aggressive periodontopathogenic microbiota characteristic of a severe degree of generalised periodontitis and a decrease in the natural immunity responsible for recognition and destruction of infectious agents is detected, complex treatment is performed - dental deposits are removed using the "Piezon-Master-400" ultrasound apparatus, rules of dental hygiene are taught, and the "Polimuramil" agent is injected intramuscularly according to the regimen: 1 intramuscular injection per day at a dose of 200 mcg for 5 consecutive days.

EFFECT: due to affecting all links of the pathogenesis of inflammatory diseases of periodontitis, the method allows reducing the amount of microbiota in periodontal pockets in a short time, fully reversing inflammation in the periodontal tissues and allowing long-term immunity to periodontopathogenic microbiota to be formed.
