FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of the gas industry and can be used in the operation of gas reduction points (hereinafter referred to as GRP) located on the linear part of the main gas pipelines. The fire protection system of the gas reduction point (GRP) is characterized by the fact that it is equipped with a normally closed pneumatic shut-off valve located on the inlet gas pipeline, a ball valve located on the line parallel to the line of the shut-off valve location, a thermal shut-off valve with a fusible insert located in the GRP compartment and connected with a spark plug pipeline to relieve the control pressure from the pneumatic drive of the shut-off valve when the allowable temperature in the compartment rises through the spark plug pipeline, a pressure regulator and a throttle located with possibility of supplying control pressure to the pneumatic drive of the shut-off valve, to maintain the shut-off valve in the open state in normal operation and on the inlet of the thermal shut-off valve, in which the control pressure is held by the fusible insert to ensure that the control pressure is relieved when the fusible insert in the thermal shut-off valve melts when the allowable temperature in the compartment is exceeded.
EFFECT: increasing reliability of the GRP operation in the absence of power supply sources by eliminating possibility of overheating of the fired heater with the melting of its body in order to ensure the fire protection of the GRP.
