FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to superconducting oxide wires and a method for their production. The superconducting oxide wire comprises a superconducting layer deposited on a substrate, the superconducting layer comprising an oxide superconductor based on RE-Ba-Cu-O and artificial pinning centers containing АВО3, where RE is a rare earth element, A is Ba, Sr or Ca, B is Hf, Zr or Sn, while in the TEM image of the superconducting layer in the cross section, the standard deviation of the angle of deviation of the rods of artificial pinning centers from the direction of the thickness of the superconducting layer is from 6, 13 to 11.73°, and the average length of the rods of artificial pinning centers is from 19.84 to 25.44 nm.
EFFECT: invention increases the critical current of the superconducting wire and its performance.
